Once Upon a Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin Set To Play Jacqueline Onasis
Ginnifer Goodwin has been cast to play Jacqueline Kennedy opposite Rob Lowe in the National Geographic film Killing Kennedy. Once Upon a Time‘s Sow White is actually quite inspired casting I think. She too caries herself with the same charm and grace as the former first lady. Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy is a good fit, too. As long as he can master that Boston accent. Entertainment Weekly broke the story this past Tuesday.
The Parks and Recreation star and Ginnifer Goodwin are also a nearly perfect physical match. Killing Kennedy is based on the best-selling book by Fox News host Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard. The film covers the final five years of the lives of of Kennedy and his assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. The part of Oswald has yet to be cast. The film will debut in November and will coincide with the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s death.
The movie will be directed by Nelson McCormick (The West Wing). National Geographic has previously aired a another of Bill O’Reilly’s projects, Killing Lincoln, which became the most-watched program in the channel’s history. It will be exciting to see how Ginnifer will fair in this role. I have no doubt she will be outstanding. She is a lovely woman who exudes strength yet still is decidedly feminine. I am greatly looking forward to the film’s debut. Check out Ginnifer Goodwin in the videos below-she is such a funny, funny, sweet, wacky lady!
