Once Upon a Time 3×02 & 3×03 Spoilers

I am not sure if I emphasize this enough. We have had some serious spoilers for season 3 of ABC’s Once Upon a Time for some time now, but no one seems to be acknowledging them, so I shall write another article about them. These spoilers come straight  from the mouths of Once Upon a Time showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It seems that  Michael Ausiello got off the telephone with them after getting  fan’s concern about the season’s use of flashback (an understandable concern, I might add). Flashback are such a major part of this series that I cannot even imagine the series without them at this point. The showrunners reveal that in Once Upon a Time 3x 02 that we see much of Snow White, Charming, and Rumpelstiltskin’s back story from when Snow White wakes up from the sleeping spell to meeting Regina on the battlefield. That could be a lot of back story for one episode. What about Neverland? Well, I guess that will be covered more in 3×02 when we learn of Tinkerbell’s origin and we think about what really makes a fairy? I guess a new Blue Fairy is involved, and not the one played by Amy Acker. I guess that is why they call 3×02 Quite a Common Fairy.

3×02 airs on October 6th and 3×03 airs October 23th, 2013 on ABC.

Question: Any spoilers on Once Upon a Time? —Patti

Ausiello: Matt Mitovich just got off the horn with Once Upon a Time series creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, and they caught us up on some of the backstory gaps that will be filled in via flashbacks during Season 3. Episode 2 is Snow/Charming-centric, covering the time between the former’s awakening from the sleep curse and when they encountered Regina on the battlefield. “How did the queen react to that? And who first told her?” Horowitz wonders.  Once Upon a Time‘s pisode 3 will relate Tinkerbell’s origin, featuring The Blue Fairy (but not Amy Acker’s Nova) and addressing the question: “What makes a fairy?” Also on tap for fall is a new chunk of Rumple’s past, the tale of how Hook became a pirate and the self-explanatory Episode 6, titled “Ariel” (and yes, Eric is being cast/will not be an existing character).
